📌 Important Reminders 📌
- Student cell phones and smart watches should be left at home. If they cannot be left at home, we appreciate your help reminding your child that they need to be powered off and stored in their backpack throughout the school day. Thank you!
- Thank you to everyone who has participated in Kindergarten color days! Here are the final days...
- Tuesday Sep 3rd--Purple 💜
- Wednesday Sep 4th--Orange 🧡
- Thursday Sep 5th--Pink 💗
- Friday Sep 6th--Black and White 🖤🤍
- Picture Day will take place on Monday, September 9th. Jostens uses green screen technology so you can pick a backdrop color after pictures are taken. For this reason, please make sure not to wear green on picture day. Proofs and order information will be sent to your email from Jostens after picture day.
👍 PBIS Family Meetings 👍
Family Meetings are a chance for all students at North to be part of a smaller community of students and teachers who come together as a family to learn, celebrate, and connect. Students are assigned a color family in Kindergarten and stay in the same family throughout their entire North Elementary years. Everyone in the entire school is part of a family!
Families meet on the last Friday of every month. During family meetings, Tigers of the Month and students who receive positive notes are recognized. We say the Pledge of Allegiance, sing our school song, and do our families secret signal. We wrap up our meetings by discussing the new Portrait of a Grad word for the upcoming month.
If you'd like to order a family t-shirt to wear to family meetings, see the link below. :)
