Go Green!
We celebrated students that are passing all classes and have no missing assignments on Friday. Students were able to choose between playing in the gym or working on a craft in the cafeteria. We had 53% of our student body qualify! Go Green!

Honor Club Field Trip Payment is Due
Honor Club Field Trip
All Honor club members were provided with a permission slip for their upcoming field trip. Please note that the signed permission slip and fee is due this Friday.

WHERE: Southwestern Michigan College
WHAT: Students will attend a tour at SMC. They will see all aspects of college life including eating lunch on campus and seeing a dorm room.

Tumbling in PE
While the male students participate in the Reproductive Health units, Mrs. Pazera is able to take all of our female students to work on new skills in PE. The girls participated in tumbling and had a blast! Check them out!
6th Grade Reproductive Health
Just a reminder that our 6th grade students continue their Reproductive Health unit this week. Information that e-mailed home earlier this year is available below. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Building a Positive School Culture
Our students continue to participate in discussions around thoughts, emotions and decisions.
- Our 6th graders will be able to describe what happens in their brains when they feel a strong emotion.
- Our 7th graders will be able to explain how thoughts and emotions are connected and can affect their decisions.
- Our 8th graders will be able to categorize common sources of stress and explain the difference between controllable and uncontrollable stressors.
Valentine's Dance is Scheduled!
We have scheduled our annual Valentine's Dance for Wednesday, Feb. 28th 5:00pm - 7:00pm. This is a No Referral Party, students will qualify to attend by not having any discipline referrals between Jan. 22nd and Feb. 28th.
