May is Jewish American Heritage Month
Jewish American Heritage Month recognizes the history of Jewish contributions to American culture, acknowledging the diverse achievements of American Jews. Some notable figures include Albert Einstein, a renowned scientist; Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a prominent Supreme Court Justice; Hank Aaron, a baseball player and Hall of Fame inductee who hit 755 home runs, more than any other player at the time; Irving Berlin, who received the Congressional Gold Medal from President Eisenhower for composing “God Bless America”; and Gloria Steinem, a feminist activist and journalist, who have left lasting impacts.
