Join us for an informative session on Standards-Based Report Cards. This presentation will help parents understand how the Standards Based Report Cards provide a clearer picture of their child's progress in relation to grade-level expectations. Join using this Zoom link!

• We are excited to continue our Halloween Parade tradition this year! The parade will take place on the soccer fields at 9:15 a.m., just like in past years (See Map). Please remember that students should arrive at school wearing their costumes. Costumes should be simple enough to remove and store after the parade. The parade should last about 25 minutes.
• Please do not send in any food items to distribute to students.

Officer Sinisi visited our school to remind students about staying safe while trick-or-treating. He shared important tips for Halloween night, including:

• Walk Safely: Stick to sidewalks and always have an adult help you cross the street.
• Respect others' property: Avoid running across lawns (ropes that secure decorations are hard to see), use driveways and walkways instead.
• Check Treats: Wait to eat any candy until an adult has inspected it. Throw away any candy with ripped or unsealed packaging or homemade treats.
• Be visible: Bring a flashlight or use glow sticks. Do not enter anyone's house alone.

• Schools Closed: November 1, 2024 (Diwali)

• Parent/Teacher Conferences: November 4-6 (Single Session - Dismissal is at 1:20 p.m.)

• Schools Closed: November 7 & 8 (NJEA Convention)

• HSO Meeting: November 13, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. (In-person at GW)

• Save the Date: American Education Week - November 18-22. We will be inviting families into our classrooms to view lessons. Schedule to come.
