SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS
Please take a look at the following age requirements for social media platforms.
Please remember that unless a parent uses parental controls, their child can access images, videos and conversations that are meant for adults.
If you allow your child to have any of these apps or any other social media platforms, please consider putting parental controls in place.
Our Graves Sailors are too young for these types of conversations and images.

A Note from the Nurses' Department 👩⚕️👩⚕️👩⚕️
Measles cases in IL continue to rise. Cook County public health officials are urging residents to get vaccinated against measles if they aren’t already. Two doses of the MMR vaccine are recommended as the best way to protect against measles, mumps, and rubella.
Children should get their first dose between 12 and 15 months, and second dose between 4 and 6 years of age. Teenagers and adults with no evidence of immunity should be vaccinated as soon as possible.
“Once a week, take a peek” Please perform weekly hair checks to prevent a lice outbreak in your home.
Current 2nd grade students are required to have a State of IL dental exam on file. Dental forms are due May 15th.
This is a great time to schedule summer doctor appointments. Please note action plans and medication authorization forms are to be updated and submitted every school year!
The Loyola mobile van was at Graves/HMS on April 9th and was a success! The van will return September 18th, 2024. Call the office for more information.
Please remember per district 104 handbook: students are NOT allowed to carry ANY medication (this includes any over-the-counter medication such cough drops, Tylenol, and Motrin). If your student needs medication administered during the school day (including cough drops, Tylenol, or Motrin), medication must be kept in the Health Office and medication authorization forms must be signed by the parent/guardian AND a medical provider (Doctor, PA, APRN).

For child's safety no crocs are allowed, unless its a special dress down day, such as Pajama Day.
Thanks for your cooperation as we want to make sure students are safe during

If the technical department determines a failure due to damage, the student will be responsible for any hardware costs needed to return the device to a functional state.
