Anthony Wayne Penta FFA at State Convention

On May 2nd and 3rd, the Anthony Wayne-Penta FFA Chapter took 15 students to Columbus Ohio to receive awards and discover agriscience fair placings. At convention Grady St. John placed 2nd in his agriscience fair division, and Jaidyn Triggs and Carol Beck placed 3rd in their division. Jaidyn Triggs was recognized for her gold rated treasurer book and Braelynne Stuard was recognized for her gold rated secretary book. Makayla Tellier and Ronald Bischoff were awarded their state degrees. Everyone involved enjoyed a meal at Benihana and then enjoyed games at TopGolf “State convention was a very fun and memorable experience” says Eva Schadewald.

June 18: Executive Team training

July 1: Fair project AET books complete

July 8-14: Lucas County Fair

July 11: Limitless Livestock Show at the fair

July 22, August 5: Executive team workdays (choose at least one to attend)

August 22: First day of school for freshmen

Thank you for a WONDERFUL school year! Congratulations to all of our senior students and their families. We look forward to seeing underclassmen in the fall again in AFNR 1, AFNR 2, Understanding Food, Welding and Small Engines or Agbusiness!
