We hope that everyone had a relaxing and fun summer and we are ready to welcome our students to the new school year! We look forward to seeing old faces along with welcoming new students to our community!

As always, we strive to build strong and collaborative partnerships with our families as we work together to support your child's growth and development this year. Your child's case manager will be reaching out in the first week to check in on how the summer went and this is a great time to discuss any and all hopes and concerns you have for the upcoming year!

One of the many things that happens over the summer are building construction projects, ranging from small items to big changes! This summer, we have done the following:

- Installed new LED lights throughout the building (in partnership with ComEd)

- Painted the first-floor hallway walls to brighten the interior (second floor likely to be painted over Winter Break)

- Installed permanent benches in our outdoor classroom

- Installed exterior security cameras to ensure everyone's safety

- And, new basketball hoops are on the way for the multipurpose room!

No updates for now; we will have more information in our September newsletter about flag football.
