This past Friday was the 9th Annual Fred Pickett Jr. Classic (2023 season opener). The Clippers won their home opener vs Abraham Lincoln. It's very normal to witness a packed house for the Clippers home opener. People travel near and far to see what the "High" will accomplish on its opening night. Well, the Clippers led throughout the night. Applying pressure to their opponents. Late in the game, (3) players of Abraham Lincoln fouled out in their efforts of trying to keep up with the swiftly guard play. Final: Chester 54, Abraham Lincoln 47. At the end of the game, (2) players are named most valuable player and the winning team gets a trophy. Congratulations to the Chester Clippers for receiving the team trophy. Congrats to Dante Atkinson (Chester) and Samir Peterson (Abraham Lincoln) for earning Most Valuable Player awards during the game.

The Lady Clippers came up short in the close matchup against the Lady Fighting Tigers of Marple Newtown. Final: Lady Clippers 35, Lady Fighting Tigers 38.

The Lady Clippers Basketball team will host Phoenixville this Tuesday. Games will begin at 5:30pm. Boys Basketball will host Math, Civics, and Science on Thursday. The Girls Indoor Track team will travel to Alvernia University to compete this Friday.
