PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Our Salvation Army Fund Drive ended today. Overall, we collected over $2,500 dollars! Once we finalize our total, then I will share it out. THANK YOU to our families for supporting our local community. We will making a district donation to our local Salvation Army in early December.
Thursday is our second annual Turkey Trot! Thank you to those who volunteered to help with counting laps. This year, students are encouraged to dress up (think turkey). Our 6th graders will participate in the morning and our 5th graders will participate in the afternoon. Students will have hot chocolate and cookies afterwards. Thank you to our PTO for providing the hot chocolate and cookies! *If your student has allergies, or can't eat the snack, then he/she is welcome to bring something from home.
Mark your calendars for December 5th. CIS will host a family game night alongside the family ornament decorating event. Both events will be in the cafeteria from 6:00-7:30 pm. Family game night will incorporate educational games and gift card prizes. Our title tutors will coordinate the game night and have Title I information available. Family Game Night
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

On Wednesday, our 5th grade students will learn about puberty and personal hygiene. It will start in the auditorium with the girls watching a video, with our school nurse, that covers puberty. Then they will move to the classrooms to learn about personal hygiene. The boys will start with personal hygiene and move to watching the puberty video with our school nurse in the auditorium.
Here are the Puberty & Personal Hygiene Resources. We WILL NOT share the booklets. Those are resources for families only.
Please reach out if you have any questions.
