Lions Roar

This year we will continue to provide annual physicals for our student-athletes. Physicals will take place on Tuesday, June 6th, and Wednesday, June 7th, between the hours of 2:30-6 pm at Lacey Township High School by appointment only. Click here for more information and the Physical Sign-Up Form.

Chorus is practicing for their Spring concert, which is scheduled for Thursday, May 11th. Additionally, they are very excited about the upcoming Broadway trip to see Wicked on May 31st.

Student Council is setting up a post-testing spirit week and preparing for all end-of-year activities, including the 8th grade dance. Our school store renovation is continuing, and they are ready to run officer elections this month. They have also been discussing ways to welcome and incorporate the sixth graders into our school community next year.

JrAADA

At their last JrAADA meeting, members finished the second schoolwide coloring poster, which will be displayed within the school. Plans were made to begin creating the "What's Your Anti-Drug?" schoolwide quilt, which will replace the previous quilt in the cafeteria. Lastly, during the week of May 7th, National Prevention Week is dedicated to increasing public awareness and prevention about substance misuse and focusing on positive mental health. Throughout the week, JrAADA will provide this important information to the school community.

Girls track current record is 2-3. They have a home meet on Friday. Boys track current record is 4-1. The Meet of Champions is scheduled for May 19th.

Softball

They are just about halfway through the Spring season, and athletes have been working hard everyday both at practices and at games. Participants are continuing to build on fundamental skills and are becoming stronger as a new team. Our next home game is Wednesday, May 3rd, against Toms River East at 3:45pm.

• Lawn Signs and Banners - featuring lawn signs for graduation, sports/activities, as well as Lion Pride. There are banners and signs for the graduating Class of 2023 which can also be personalized with names and pictures if you choose!
• Ordering deadline is May 15. Signs and banners will be available for pickup beginning May 22!
• For LTHS signs and banners, pickup will be available from 7am-3pm at LTHS in the main entrance/attendance office.
• For LTMS signs and banners, pickup will be available from 7am-3pm at LTMS in the main office.
