A few things to put on your radar from Dr. Buch, Mrs. Yoder, and Mrs. Giacomin-Ferris

We realize parking is limited this year at Westgate, but we are asking parents not to park in the lots when dropping their children at school. We need to prioritize these parking spots for our staff members. Thank you in advance for your help!
Our Commons will be getting new flooring over winter break! The classrooms on the south side of the building will also have new ceiling tiles, lighting, and blinds added to their classrooms. These are all part of our continued renovations at Westgate!
Currently, we do not have a crossing guard at Harvard and Dwyer. The position is posted on the district website. We hope to find a crossing guard for this corner, but it will remain uncovered until the district can fill the position. We encourage students and families to cross at the corner of Grove and Dwyer, where there is a crossing guard if needed.

Erin's Law Presentations

Illinois Public Act 097-1147 requires public schools to provide child sexual abuse prevention education for students in early childhood through twelth grades. Our school social workers will work with each grade level to provide age appropriate information. Additional information can be found on the District’s website including the optional opt-out form.
