EVERYONE LEARNING, EVERYONE LEADING
Dear Longacre Families,
We had a wonderful Legacy Review visit last Thursday! Our student, staff, and parent leaders did an incredible job showcasing our shared leadership model. It was truly special to have alumni staff, students and parents join us for the day, along with Dr. Coffin- FPS Superintendent and Mrs. Kaminski- FPS Assistant Superintendent of Business Services.
Throughout the Legacy Review visit we highlighted our effective practices in leadership, culture, and academics. The Student Lighthouse Team, Greeter Leaders, and CheerLEADers all displayed exceptional hospitality to our guests, and our choir performed a beautiful song celebrating leadership. A special thank you goes out to our Teacher Lighthouse Team, Parent Lighthouse Team, PTA, and Ms. Bailey for their meticulous preparations, which helped make the day such a success!
Additionally, we kicked off March Reading Month with the exciting title reveal of our One School One Book selection—DOGTOWN by Katherine Applegate and Gennifer Choldenko. Each family received a copy of the book, along with information about the fun plans we’ve created to make this reading journey enjoyable for all. Be sure to check out the links below for a detailed reading calendar and video read-alouds created by FPS staff members:

Rhonda Henry, Principal
