We are thrilled to announce that our counseling department is now using School Links as our primary platform for delivering College and Career Curriculum. This comprehensive tool will allow students to explore post-secondary options, set goals, and track their progress throughout their high school journey.
For parents and guardians, if you have an email on file with the school, you will automatically have a School Links account (more info in the Parent Resources below).

9th Grade Math Opt-Out
9th Grade Parents, if your son/daughter took Algebra 1-2, Geometry 1-2, and/or Honors Geometry in a Paradise Valley Unified School District (PVUSD) Middle School in Grade 7 or 8 you have until the last day of school to decide if you want that math grade and credit to appear on their transcript. In some cases, depending on the grade, it may be wise to have the class and credit removed.
You must complete and submit the Math Opt-Out Form. Your request must be submitted in person to the Counseling Office. Download and Print Out the Math Opt-Out Form before the deadline date of the last day of school. t
Located below is a link to a Math Opt-Out Presentation that explains the reasons as to why you should remove the credit and the reasons as to why you should keep the credit on the transcript. You will also find a link to the Math Opt-Out Form to print out.
Again, this only pertains to current 9th graders that took one of the above mentioned math classes in a Paradise Valley Unified School District Middle School in the 7th or 8th Grade. If these courses were taken at a school outside of PVUSD they can not be removed from the student's transcript.
