Greenbriar Gazette 5/24/2024

Volume 33 Issue 36 | May 24, 2024
Principal's Message
Dear Greenbriar Families,
What a week for our community! Thank you to everyone who came to our outdoor classroom dedication for "Porcaro's Place" on Tuesday. It was a great reminder of the power of the Greenbriar community! The attached photo shows Mary Porcaro's children, Cami, Bobby and Hayley, and her dog, Sunny, who all attended the dedication and expressed their appreciation for the community's efforts in honor of their mom.
We also had a blast at the County Fair on Wednesday! It was the best attended County Fair we've had in years. The beautiful weather certainly helped. Huge thanks to our PTO committee and all of the volunteers who helped facilitate this fun event. Speaking of...our PTO wants to hear from you about future events! Please consider spending two minutes to take this five question, multiple choice survey to help us plan for next year. We appreciate your input!
Next week brings our final Greyhound Pack meeting of the year and, a student favorite, Field Day on Friday. Let's hope our good weather streak continues! Next Friday will be our last Gazette for the school year. Look for your next Greenbriar all-school communication on August 9th when we send class placement emails.
Thank you to all whose family members have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Enjoy this Memorial Day weekend,
Ginny
