Thank you all for an incredible week!

A huge shoutout to our PTO for making the Trunk or Treat event a resounding success! Also a special thank you to Mrs. Blanchard for providing such a delicious spread before the festivities. Thank you to all the parents that brought in coffee/tea items to support our teachers and staff.

Our AMAZING soccer team scored another victory this Saturday, triumphing 12-0! Thank you to everyone who came out to support Henderson Mill’s winning teams—your enthusiasm truly makes a difference!

This week was brimming with vibrant celebrations, from Red Ribbon Week to Viking Day, and honoring our outstanding bus drivers and courageous cancer survivors, along with our exceptional CCV team!

I want to extend a special shoutout to Ms. Bailey for her incredible support in making all our celebrations shine—she truly is a ray of sunshine!

Kudos to our CCV presenter team for their fantastic presentation to Area 1 on Tuesday. Ms. Vela, Mrs. Washington, Coach Conner, Mrs. Bierman, Mrs. Frazier, Mrs. Eubanks. Their hard work and dedication are greatly appreciated!

As we step into the 12th week of school, I want to express our gratitude for your unwavering support in fostering a safe school environment. Please also take a moment to review our shared safety responsibilities to ensure our community remains secure and welcoming for everyone.

We’re eagerly looking forward to more thrilling events this week designed to engage both our families and students.

Picture Day Tuesday, October 29th
Spooky Subjects Day! Thursday, October 31st. All students are encouraged to wear their favorite book character and don't forget your book to walk in the parade! The parade will be from 7:45-8:00am. We will begin lining up at 7:30am in the cafeteria. Parents are invited to join!

Movie Night/ Fall Teacher Conferences (3pm-5pm) - Friday, November 15th (6pm)
Thanksgiving Luncheon (PreK, K, 2, 4th)- Thursday, November 21st (times vary per class)
Thanksgiving Break (No School) - November 25th – 29th

ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL

School doors open at 7:00am and breakfast begins, to avoid traffic plan to arrive early!
After breakfast Intervention/Enrichment begins. This is a critical time for students that need support.
7:30am breakfast ends
7:40am Morning Announcements start
7:45am Instruction begins
2:15pm Dismissal begins, bus riders, van riders, walkers, car riders, and then aftercare are released. We ask that parents that pick up students in cars, allow our buses to be first in line. Buses arrive at 1:30pm and should be able to park in front of all cars.
2:30pm All students should be dismissed from classes.
2:45pm Parents arriving after this time will have to pick their child up from aftercare and there is a drop in fee that you will be required to pay.
