Orders are still coming in; check your child's backpack for your order.
Spring Book Fair - Save the Date
College Heights is partnering with Little Shop of Stories for our Spring fair, which will take place April 15th-19th. Volunteers will be needed all week but especially on Monday, when all eight Pre-K classes will visit the library to browse the fair. Stay tuned for more details!
Media Center This Week
As we continue to observe and celebrate Black History Month, Pre-K and Preschool (three year olds) students learned about author and illustrator Christian Robinson. These classes heard his book You Matter, a great example of his commitment to creating picture books for kids where kids can see themselves - their skin color, hair texture, disability, uniqueness - and know they do, in fact, matter.
Other books we read this week:
Bulldozer's Big Day by Candace Fleming and Eric Rohmann
Pete the Cat - The Wheels on the Bus based on the creation of James Dean
A Huge Hog is a BIG PIG by Francis McCall and Patricia Keeler
Don't Blow Your Top! by Ame Dyckman, illustrated by Abhi Alwar
