Cell Phones and Electronic Devices
We will continue our focus this school year on reducing distractions in the school building and classrooms, including cell phone and electronic device use. These devices can be extremely distracting during instruction and can lead to behavior and safety issues in the building.
Students will have access to Chromebooks for educational purposes in classes throughout the day. Other electronic devices (i.e. cell phones, smart watches, wireless earbuds/airpods) may be used during the following times:
Before School
After School
Students need to have their personal electronic devices turned off and put away during the school day. Personal electronic devices are NOT permitted during the school day from 7:40-2:30. No electronic device brought by the student is the responsibility of Wilmington High School.
Parents have the opportunity to contact their child by contacting the front office. If you need to speak with your child, or get them a message, please call the front office at (937) 382-7716. Students may also ask for permission to use the office phone to contact their parents. We appreciate your support!
