Ron Hein Track Meet
Our 5th graders did an amazing job at the Ron Hein Track Meet.
PTA sponsored Pizza Parties
Kindergarten enjoyed their PTA sponsored pizza party today in honor of their Kindergarten Continuation. It was so fun watching the kids having outdoor time with bubbles, chalk, hula hoops, and rolling down the hill!
Today we celebrated 5th Grade Continuation with a PTA sponsored pizza party! 🍕 The students enjoyed lots of pizza and had a great time getting to visit with friends. We are so proud of our 5th graders and wish them all the best in middle school! 👏🏼🎉👏🏼
A big shout out to Molly's Mountain Pies for supplying us with delicious pizza! If you haven’t tried their pizza, check them out. They were so generous and helpful in making this a special day for our students.

Medications and health care plans:
If your student currently has a health care plan and associated medications in the health office this school year you will be receiving a letter via email and backpack for pick up, along with the forms for next school year from the school RN. New permission forms and medical orders are required each school year. If your child is participating in the summer bridge program and has medications/plans please pick up the medication for delivery to the summer bridge school your child will be attending.
Please come to the health room, preferably on the last day of school, May 21, 2024, to pick up your student’s medication. An adult must pick up the medication; we cannot send it home with your student. You will be asked to sign for the medication(s) you are picking up. Any medications left after the last day of school will be discarded. We cannot store medications over the Summer.
Non-Medical Immunization Exemptions and TDAP for 6th grade:
Non-medical immunization exemptions are required to be completed annually no sooner than July 1 for the upcoming school year. Exemption forms can be found on the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment website. Parents should review the exemption process as new requirements went into effect during the 2024-2025 school year.
Colorado law requires students who are entering sixth grade to receive a
tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis (Tdap) vaccine before their first day of school. You will be receiving an email from the school RN with the Tdap requirements, as well as a letter in your 5th graders backpack.
The Tdap vaccine can prevent tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis. Tetanus enters the body
through cuts or wounds and cannot be spread from person to person. Diphtheria and pertussis
spread from person to person.
If you have any question please contact our School Nurse, Mrs. Cheryl Witzman cheryl.witzman@d11.org
