PSAT/NMSQT Information for Grades 10 & 11

The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is an optional test that determines if students are on track for college success, with the potential to earn scholarships to pay for college. The test will be administered between October 21st and October 31st, 2024 for students who are planning to participate in the National Merit® Scholarship Program.

Please note that sophomores who take the 2024 PSAT/NMSQT but plan to spend four years in grades 9 through 12 will not meet entry requirements for the 2027 National Merit Program. They must take the Fall PSAT/NMSQT again in 2025 (when they are juniors) to enter the competition that will end when scholarships are awarded in 2027, the year they will complete high school and enter college.

Please register for this test at the following link and more information will be provided to you and your student on the date/time/location of the NMSQT offered in Fall 2024. The cost of the Fall NMSQT is $20 and is offered to students in 10th and 11th grade who are interested in taking the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying test. If you are interested in taking the PSAT/NMSQT, please complete the following sign-up form: PSAT/NMSQT Pre-Registration Sign-up.

Starting on Monday, September 30th, students can bring the $20 payment, cash or check, to Mrs. Maus in the bookkeeping office.

Please note that there will be a spring registration for PSAT-only students that will occur with a similar sign-up in the second semester.

WBHS Highlights & Celebrations

The 10th Annual Youth Impact Club Butterfly 5K Run/Walk was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who participated.

East Tennis was one of a few teams that recently honored teachers with a Teacher Appreciation Night!
