Parent Perception Survey
Parents/Guardians,
Cogburn Woods and FCS values feedback from our stakeholders. The district is administering an Annual Perception Survey to students, staff, and parents/guardians from Weds. October 16th through November 22nd. After administration, the district will publish summarized reports. We will analyze the data for emerging themes on strengths and areas for growth. This will eventually be incorporated into the schools public Balanced Scorecard.

CWE Founding Member Spotlight-Jodi Luxton
I graduated from Ball State University, where I pursued an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. I later obtained a Master's degree in Technology from Ashford University. I was raised in the serene countryside of rural Indiana, near Greencastle, where I embraced the values of community and education from an early age. This background laid the foundation for my remarkable teaching career, which has now spanned 33 enriching years. In 2004, I opened Cogburn Woods Elementary, where I have continued to inspire young minds and foster a nurturing learning environment.
Throughout my career, some of my fondest memories have been bringing my own children to school during their elementary years and witnessing their educational journeys first-hand. The joy of seeing former students graduate from both elementary and high school has profoundly impacted my life, underscoring the lasting connections and positive influence I have had on the community.
