Grade 6 Promotion Ceremony, June 24th
We are so proud of how far our Grade 6 students have come! It has been so exciting to see them grow and learn, and expand their curiosities as they head onto Grade 7!
Our grade 6 Promotion Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 24th at 12:00 p.m. in the Gym and should last approximately one hour. We welcome you all to attend, but please no more than 5 guests per student.
Doors will open at 11:45 a.m. and you will be escorted directly to the Gym.
After the ceremony, families will meet their children outside at the front of the school where you are invited to take pictures. Students will then return to the Gym for the afternoon, if they would like to stay, and enjoy pizza and cupcakes for the remainder of the day. Parents/guardians will not be invited back into the gym for this.
Grade 6 students will also be receiving their Term 2 Report Cards that day. If your child does not plan on staying for the remainder of the day, please let your child's teacher know ahead of time so we can have their Report Cards at the ceremony for them.

Parent/Guardian Updates
If you have a change in dismissal routine for your child, at the end of the school day, it is very important to call the office first! We will then communicate this change to the classroom teacher. Thank you!
Also, please try to avoid buzzing the office and picking up your child(ren) between 3:15 - 3:30 each day. This is our busiest and most hectic time of day with busses being loaded and organizing students for Kiss and Ride. Thank you for your consideration.
Mental Health/Well-Being

As you may have already heard, new provincial government legislation has resulted in changes to the use of personal mobile devices in schools (laptop, cellphone, tablet or smart watch).
In order to ensure a focused and engaging learning environment, all personal mobile devices are to be out of view and powered off during the entire instructional day (9:10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) including both Nutrition Breaks.
