Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

Welcome back to the class of 2029, and welcome aboard to the class of 2030! Our team at Pella Middle School is eager to return!

This is an exciting year to be a part of Pella Middle School. We are welcoming some great new teachers to our already fantastic staff and witnessing the completion of our middle school renovation and the connection between the middle school and Jefferson. You can see in the pictures below that there are many new and updated spaces that our kids will enjoy this year.

Enjoy these last few days of summer. Take time to sleep in, play outside with friends and family, stay up late watching movies, and do those things that fill your bucket and bring you joy.

We appreciate your partnership during this significant time known as middle school. It's going to be another memorable year at Pella Middle School.

• Students may drop off supplies, fill lockers, meet and greet teachers, pick up paper schedules if wanted, and sign out their laptops in the library 3:00 - 4:00

• **If you need to come to the first or second session because it may fit your family schedule better, please switch.

This time is for students and families who are brand new to Pella Community Schools. If your student did not attend 6th grade at Jefferson Intermediate, this time is for you.

Please meet in the lunchroom at 5pm. Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend as well.

- There may be schedule miscues, and we are always happy to fix them. If there is a mistake, please click on the button below to submit your change request.

- We will not alter your student’s schedule to be in class with their friends or a preferred teacher.
