Notes & Reminders
Lost and Found
Be sure to stop by the “lost and found” located near the main entrance to pick up any items your child may be missing. It’s overflowing! The teachers are also encouraging students to take a look! Please be sure to label coats/sweatshirts/hats...gloves, and we'll be sure it gets back to your child.
We will hold our annual “Rapid Dismissal Drill” on November 27th, the day before Thanksgiving.
On Wednesday, The Rye Neck School District will conduct its annual Rapid Dismissal. This procedure is a practice in the event our building needed to be evacuated and closed. We will use the PA system to inform all students that we will be practicing a safety drill, and all are to exit the building. All classes will line up in dismissal spots and second grade will line up outside near the side door. Dismissal will take place promptly at the following times.
Daniel Warren:
Kindergarten 11:00 AM
1st & 2nd Grades 11:15 AM
Please make sure that arrangements are made for your child to be picked up so they are not waiting outside the building for a late pick up with staff. The building will not be open following the drill.

Daniel Warren enjoyed a PTSA STEAM sponsored assembly, "The Magic of Science." The mysterious world of magic is truly the fascinating world of science!
Literacy stations in 1MP/AR allow students to work in small groups for (Fundations) word work, retell skills and independent reading.
Students with Ms. Muccioli explore "glossaries" and how they teach us more about the big, important, words in our nonfiction texts.
