Action Required - Summer PEIMS Resubmission Deadline - June 18, 2024
Please make sure to double check your summer PEIMS submission; multiple districts have found errors. This summer PEIMS submission is the only window for DUAL CREDIT, IBCs, and COLLEGE PREP COURSES. If they are not submitted in this window, there are no additional opportunities to submit or correct. See the information from TEA below.
TEA released a TAA announcing the PEIMS Summer deadline for CCMR in 2025 Accountability. LEAs have until July 18, 2024, to verify and submit corrected data for errors found in the initial June 20, 2024 submission. Please note that any corrections not submitted by the resubmission deadline are excluded from important accountability products. It is extremely important that all LEAs verify their data directly in TSDS PEIMS even if the data appears to be accurate in their SIS. The CCMR data collected during the PEIMS Summer Submission and Resubmission cannot be corrected through the CCMR Verifier process in the following spring or summer.
TEA has created a Guide to PEIMS Summer Submissions as a resource.
Action Required- TEAL Data Download
TEA only houses current year accountability data in TEAL. Once they begin to release the 2024 accountability reports, the 2023 reports will be removed. Please make sure your district has made copies of relevant data. Also, Lead4ward has created a document on how to access the beneficial files (see attached PDF).
CCMR Outcome Bonus Reports in TEAL
TEA has released the 2022 final CCMR OB student listing in TEAL. As a reminder, House Bill 3 awards districts CCMR OB funding based on the number of annual graduates who demonstrate CCMR in excess of a threshold (TEA methodology). The final CCMR OB district counts has been released on the Performance Reporting Resources webpage. Additionally, TEA has updated their CCMR OB one pager.
HB 1416 Accelerated Instruction - UPDATED
TEA has released the HB 1416 Ratio Waiver List for the 2024-25 school year. If a school district chooses to use an approved product for tutoring, then the 4 to 1 student-to-tutor ratio is waived. For additional information, see the TAA. To benefit from the waived ratio requirement, applicable students must meet minimum product usage requirements for the approved product. A school district not meeting usage requirements with a product will be required to revert to the 4:1 ratio for supplemental instruction. Districts are also required to inform parents that a product on the Ration Waiver List will be used. For additional information, see the TEA Accelerated Instruction Webpage.
