Dear Parents:

The UIL District Elementary Academic Meet will be here soon. Our students will be ready to show our “Leopard Pride” in Abernathy on December 3rd. All students will need to be transported to Abernathy by school transportation. Buses will leave New Home Elementary at 8:00 and 9:45. Parents can pick up students from Abernathy but must sign out with a New Home teacher or admin. If your student is returning on the bus, their estimated return time is below. The student holding area will be in the Abernathy Auditorium. We will let you know if that changes.

Lunch and snacks will be provided at a designated area in the cafeteria. A concession stand will be available for students who bring their own money. No food or drinks will be allowed outside the cafeteria. Students will be responsible for keeping track of the things they bring.

Students in writing events will compete on the morning of Monday, November 18, on the New Home Elementary campus.

Please dress for your type of contest. Our students are expected to act their best and have excellent manners when we travel.

Our New Home students are doing their best to spread kindness all around our school!

We have so much to be thankful for here at New Home. We want to take a minute to thank our parents and community for the continued support shown to our school daily. We definitely couldn't do it without you guys!
