Any current 8th -11th graders interested in participating in the HS Student Council next year, please pick up a packet from Mrs. Huynh by April 4th, and complete the online application by April 15th. Speeches and any posters will need to be turned in to Mrs. Huynh by April 24th, no exceptions. Speeches will be given during Chapel on May 1st, and elections will be on May 2nd.

Mascot tryouts will be held during tutorials in the Dabney April 5th at 3:15 PM. Please see the office to pick up your packet. Student evaluations will need to be given to 3 teachers.

Our Annual Phalanx Cup Day will be held on Friday, April 19th, at Christ Central Camp in Beaumont (10730 N. Major Dr.). This will be an all-day event featuring many different competitions. The outcome of these competitions will determine the 2024-2025 Phalanx Cup Winner.

Since this will be an all-day off-campus event, students will have a few different options for lunch for the day. Students may bring a lunch, bring cash the day of to purchase pizza by the slice along with drinks, chips, snacks, etc., from our Warrior Mom’s snack table, or they may pre-purchase a hot lunch from Christ Central Camp, which consists of a chicken bacon ranch quesadilla with chipotle ranch, rice and beans, and lemonade or water for $8.00. These pre-purchased hot lunches will need to be paid for through Legacy by this Friday, April 5th. You may send cash or a check made payable to Legacy Christian Academy with your student to the front office anytime this week.

Attention MS and HS: April is Child Abuse Awareness month and Blue Pinwheel Week is where NJHS raises money for abused and neglected children in our community and surrounding area. ALL proceeds go to CASA of SETX! NJHS has a goal to raise $1000!

NJHS is inviting all secondary students to participate in the 8th annual NJHS Blue Pinwheel week! Monday 4/8-4/12! $5 gets you one of everything! You may purchase more of whatever you want!

The last Secondary Pep Rally will be Tuesday, April 9th at 2:45 PM. We will be recognizing Tennis, Track, Golf, and Baseball players.

RSVP/dresscode forms for prom will be in the hallway and must be returned to Mrs. Barnes no later than April 12th. Table signups will begin Monday the 15th.

Save the Dates! We are bringing back the 7th Grade Texas History Field Trip to Austin and San Antonio. We will be traveling April 25-27.

London Calling Trip - We are three months away from our trip to London! Please make sure you have your passports ready to go! Check the expiration date on your passports. According to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, passports must be valid for six months beyond the date the traveler will exit the United States.

London Calling College Course Now Open - If your student is planning on completing the included college coursework associated with the trip, that course is now open on your personal trip page. This course should transfer to your college of choice as an elective. The cost of the course is covered in the cost of the trip.

High School Student Council will meet Monday, April 8th at 2:45pm

There will be an International Thespian Society meeting on Tuesday, April 16th during tutorials in room 305. All current members should attend to plan induction in May.

Moms In Prayer will be held on Mondays at 8:00 AM in room 326 (music room) for all elementary, middle, and high school Legacy moms, grandmas, aunts, etc. Sign-in is in the elementary office. Please email Allison Broughton with any questions.
