Keeping the Crew up to Date! Volume 3 Issue 14 - 11/24/24
Clipper Nation,
This message is for the 25th, the 26th, and the week after Thanksgiving break.
At this point, we have settled into term 2. Looking back, we see that lateness to school during the first term was the largest reason students received office referrals. With that in mind, we have made some adjustments to the consequences for lateness to school. Please review the lateness visual below as it does require students who are late to school to staff after school for an hour, and if they don't say that get a full day sitting in our In-School Intervention (ISI) room, failure to complete that would then lead to Out of School Suspension.
The last day to recover attendance for the first term will be November 26th.
As we progress in the year, please encourage your students to attend school every day and on time unless they have a fever or are extremely sick. Attending is the best way to ensure success at school.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Break.

Please make sure to review the talking points communication you received about MCAP testing from our school testing coordinator. This information should also be in your child’s Algebra I, Biology, Government and/or English 10 BVP Google Classroom. Remember MCAP testing is a state and federal requirement for graduation, so it is very important for your child to get this completed.
