A Message From Mrs. Lamb
It is time to start thinking about the 25-26 school year. Please use the Settles Bridge Parent Input form below to share your perspective for what your child needs in his/her learning environment for the 24-25 school year. We ask this be completed by April 11th so we can work on class placements.
YOUNG GEORGIA AUTHORS

We have two great ways you can GIVE this month:
Kids Heart Challenge
Through March 7th, students can raise money for the American Heart Association. We would love to see all families complete Finn's Mission to learn Hands-Only CPR. This can be life-saving.
We have officially kicked off the Kids Heart Challenge with the American Heart Association, and we need your help getting your student registered online! Over the next few weeks students will be learning about heart health and raising awareness for the American Heart Association.
Our school's goal is for every student and family to know Hands-Only CPR and the warning signs of a stroke and completing Finn’s Mission! Students who complete Finn’s Mission will earn the Lifesaver cape AND the extra-large WYLIE & BINGO Heart Hero keychain!
PARENTS – HERE’S HOW TO GET STARTED
Step 1. Download the AHA Schools app for iPhone or Android to search for our school or click here to register your student online!
Step 2. Consider making a personal donation and be sure to complete Finn’s Mission.
Step 3. Watch and send the CPR video to family and friends, sharing the lifesaving skills of Hands-Only CPR and the warning signs of a stroke. It will also allow them to make a personal donation to your student!
Why we support the American Heart Association: When cardiac arrests occur outside of the hospital, bystanders only respond 40% of the time. 75% of cardiac arrests occur in the home. Providing Hands-Only CPR immediately can double or triple a person’s chance of survival.
Thank you for joining us and helping our community!
Duck Dive for Education
Donations given to the duck dive raise funds for grants to support education. All money is given back to Forsyth County School initiatives.
A Kickback for Settles
We have a photobook company we have partnered with that when you create and order a photobook through them, the school gets 50%. Think about upcoming family celebrations: graduations, milestone birthdays, vacations, etc. If you make a book through their website, the school also profits. This will be a year-round opportunity.

PTO HAPPENINGS
Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy BINGO night! It was a fantastic event full of fun and excitement. Bach2Rock kept the energy high with great music, and the variety of prizes added to the thrill of the evening. It was wonderful to see students, parents, grandparents, and friends all sharing in the anticipation of each number called and cheering for the multiple, big winners. Thank you to everyone who participated and volunteered. Your support made this event a success!
⭐️ Thank you to all of our families, teachers, & staff who donated to the PTO!⭐️
Monthly Digital Citizenship Highlight
Throughout February, students completed lesson modules in their classrooms with our ETC, Mr. Forlenza, via the FCS Digital Citizenship platform, Neptune Navigate.
The February theme focused on learning about the importance of digital privacy and cyber awareness. This included not sharing personal information about yourself on online gaming platforms, asking parents permission before creating online accounts, and digital "stranger danger". Neptune Navigate offers opportunities for parents to "continue the conversation" at home. Please use the following resources to help us reinforce these important lessons.

Newsworthy:
If your child has a recent accomplishment they would like to share with the school, please send a photo and description of the accomplishment to Mrs. Warnecke, dwarnecke@forsyth.k12.ga.us. She will ensure it is highlighted for all to see. We are so proud of our Stars both in the classroom and out so please help us celebrate them!
They can also be on the news by creating a presentation for Travel the World Tuesday using this template.
Students can also choose to collaborate with Mr. Forlenza, "Mr. F", on a tech tip to share with the school. They can message him through CANVAS and he will set up a time to make a video with them or they can create it at home.
Celebration months are another great way to showcase an interest or research topic. Students could research about a famous person or country of interest and submit the presentation to Mrs. Warnecke.
Volunteer To Do: (REPEAT)
If you plan to volunteer, please visit Volunteers / Volunteers @ Settles Bridge (forsyth.k12.ga.us) to read our handbook, watch the mandated reporter video, and verify you are ready to volunteer. We can't wait to see you after Labor Day!
