Five Good Things in Spring
May 25, 2025

Spring ISD lit up the FOX26 airwaves with not one, but two incredible features that had the district cheering! Dekaney’s dynamic duo, Kyle Dillon Jr. and Tanook Hines, brought the energy, excellence, and Wildcat pride! Meanwhile, Westfield senior Nehemiah Allen hit the ‘Making the Grade’ segment with Nate Griffin, proudly repping Mustang Nation and celebrating his journey to West Point. Whether it’s making plays or making headlines, Spring ISD students continue to lead, inspire, and impress! 💪📚
The Anderson Gators brought their A-game and their bow ties to the big stage for Kindergarten Graduation Day—and let’s just say, the future looks adorable! These pint-sized scholars dressed to impress and walked the stage like seasoned pros, soaking in every cheer from the crowd. Big smiles, tiny suits, and proud families filled the room with joy. One thing’s for sure: the class of 2037 already knows how to make a grand entrance. And hey, with this kind of confidence, they might run the world and the lunch line! 💚
Big smiles, tiny caps, and a whole lot of pride—our Smart Start students are officially graduates! Twenty-six little ones celebrated their big day at the Family and Community Engagement Center, marking a year of growth through Spring ISD’s free early childhood program. With weekly in-home lessons available in both English and Spanish, Smart Start is all about building strong foundations and bright futures. This program gives our youngest learners the tools to thrive and gets families involved every step of the way. Huge thanks to everyone who made this moment possible—we’re cheering loud for our littlest achievers! 💚
We’re rolling out the red carpet for the brightest of the bright—Spring ISD’s 2025 Valedictorians and Salutatorians! Let’s give it up for these academic all-stars: Hannah Vuong and Jeremiah Linday from Carl Wunsche Sr. High, Kyle Dillon and Madison Whiteside from Dekaney High, Avery Wesley and Elizabeth Upton from Spring High, Peter Ly and Ngoc Tien from Westfield High, and Philip Gonzales and Yusuf Pacha from Spring Early College Academy. These students didn’t just hit the books—they owned them! 📚💥 We’re proud, we’re inspired, and we’re not even ready for all the greatness they’re about to unleash. Let’s hear it for the Class of 2025!
Twin Creeks Middle School turned the classroom into a courtroom as scholars got an up-close look at Texas law with the Houston Bar Association’s Teach Texas program! Special thanks to the Honorable Judge TaKasha Francis and Ms. Trisha Pollard for bringing the legal world to life—no objections here! Students asked the big questions, explored the justice system, and even learned why judges never play hide-and-seek... because good luck hiding when everyone rises the moment you enter! 😂 Big cheers to our guest speakers for inspiring tomorrow’s lawyers, leaders, and maybe even a few future judges!
