Follow our WISE expectations!
As we sprint towards the finish line of the school year with just three weeks to go, let's encourage our students to power through by embracing our WISE expectations. A Willing attitude helps us tackle every task with enthusiasm, Innovation sparks creative problem-solving as we wrap things up, Self-control keeps us focused during these busy days, and Empathy strengthens our community as we support each other. Let's make these final weeks strong and positive for everyone!

Important Update: Morning Supervision and Cafeteria Access
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We want to ensure the safety and well-being of all our students. Please take note of the following important information regarding morning arrival times:
- Cafeteria Breakfast: The cafeteria gate will open at 7:30 AM ONLY for students who are purchasing and eating breakfast.
- Campus Opening: The rest of the school campus will open at 7:45 AM.
- Supervision: From 7:30 AM to 7:45 AM, the cafeteria is the only location on campus with staff supervision.
- Beginning Monday, April 14th: If your child arrives on campus before 7:45 AM, they will be directed to the cafeteria to purchase breakfast. This is necessary to ensure they are supervised until the rest of the campus opens.
We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these arrival times to maintain a safe environment for all students.
Thank you for your understanding.

Kindergarten Registration
Dear Parents,
We’re excited to welcome our future kindergarten students, and now is the time to register your incoming kindergartner for the upcoming school year! By registering now, you help us plan and ensure we have the right resources and staff to provide the best possible experience for every child.
Your timely registration allows us to assess and meet the unique needs of our incoming class, so we ask that you take a moment to complete your child’s registration. If you know other families with incoming kindergartners, please share this message with them as well!
If you live outside of our school boundaries, please complete an open enrollment application. Once approved, you will be able to register your incoming kindergarten student in January. Please see the link below to read more about the open enrollment process.
If you have any questions, feel free to call our office to speak with our knowledgeable school registrar, Vanessa.
Thank you for helping us prepare for a fantastic year and for sharing the word about our school. We’re grateful for your support and the wonderful community connections you bring!

During our 1:15 pm dismissal time, teachers meet together, and we call these Collaborative Team meetings. Las Brisas is a PLC school (Professional Learning Community). Our 90-minute early release days support planning for student learning, interventions, and targeted support. This time is invaluable to our teachers, and our students, as it gives critical time to our teacher teams to design skill-based instruction and assessments, review student progress data, and design supports and interventions.
