Haskin Happenings
Back to School Edition - Reach For The Stars
Principal's Desk
Dear Haskin Families,
Welcome to the new school year! We hope that you had a relaxing summer with family and friends while also building everlasting memories. You may have noticed a little change in my name, but it is certainly the same person! Our family finally united as one as Greg and I said "I do" with our closest family members watching from under their umbrellas. It was a beautiful day - pouring rain and all!
We are thrilled to embark on another exciting year with your children and are committed to upholding the core values that make Haskin Elementary a special place for learning and growth. This year, we will continue to honor our Heart of Haskin core values, which guide our efforts to foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student can thrive.
In this newsletter, you will find a wealth of important back-to-school updates. We encourage you to review all the information carefully to stay informed about upcoming events, classroom expectations, and key dates. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please do not hesitate to call the school office. We look forward to a fantastic year ahead and appreciate your continued support and partnership.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Martha Nenni (previously Venetucci)

Important Information
Attention Bus Riders
Bus drivers will be in contact with parents/guardians prior to the first day of school to go over transportation arrangements. This will include bus pick-up times, bus stop locations, and drop-off times.
Changes in Transportation
When there is a change in your student's transportation, we prefer an email notice to your student(s) teacher. In an emergency, please get in touch with the school office no later than 2:00 pm so we can notify our staff and ensure your child's safe dismissal. If the school does not have notice of a change in transportation, a student will be sent home in their typical fashion.
*When dropping students off in the parking lot, we ask that everyone stays in line to exit the parking lot for everyone’s safety. Please do not go around the vehicles in the line unless one of the building staff asks you to.
*School supervision of students begins at 7:45. They will be let in the building at 8:00.
*If your student arrives after the 8:10 bell, you must accompany your student to the front doors of the school and ring the bell.
*If your student needs to leave school before the end of the day, please call the office and email your child's teacher. When picking them up, please come to the front doors, and someone in the office will assist you in signing your student out for the day. Your child will be called to the office when you arrive.
Pick Up/Drop Off & Changes to front of school driveway and parking
Please note that there have been changes to the front of the school's driveway and parking. Please adhere to the new traffic lines and signs that are posted. This will ensure drop off and pick up safety and efficiency.
