Dear Parent/Carer,
As a result of the AP1 examinations and in the run up to end of year exams in Summer term, Year 10 English groups have been rearranged according to attainment in the most recent exams. Set changes will take place this week with students set according to their performance in these exams. These set changes are designed to ensure that all students are taught content that they do not yet know securely to ensure that they are able to start Year 11 in the strongest possible position. After the Summer exams in AP2, there will be a review of these sets before starting Year 11 in September.
