Kindergarten thru 5th Grade-

9:05am-3:25pm

Students can be dropped off at 8:50am for the school day. If you arrive before that time please keep your child with you until 8:50 as there is no supervision outside until then.

The School Day ends at 3:25pm on all days except early release days which ends at 2:35pm. If you pick your children up by car please plan to be here prior to 3:25pm daily and prior to 2:35pm on those early release dates.

If you are arriving after 9:05am and the doors are closed, for safety and security you must walk your student into the main office and sign them in.

Our school office is open from 8:30 until 4:00pm on school days.

• District 303 is proud to partner with the Glenbard Parent Series (GPS) to offer our families broader access to information sessions and resources that support their child’s development.

• For decades, GPS has been offering free programs that aim to empower and strengthen families, individuals and communities. As a partner organization, District 303 will support promoting upcoming programs and their importance to our local community.

Tri-City Salvation Army

We ask for unwrapped, new toys for all ages-- babies to teenagers. Gift cards

and monetary donations made out to the Salvation Army Tri-City Corps can also

be used.

New, unwrapped toys can be placed in the Salvation Army

Toys for Kids Toy Box located by the office.

Toy boxes will be delivered November 12 th and 13 th and last day of

collection will be December 5 th .

Collection boxes and toys will be picked up on December 6 th .

Our lost & found is conveniently located in the lunch room where every student has a daily opportunity to look for lost items. Please encourage your child to check for misplaced items. Don't forget to label as much as possible. We regularly donate unclaimed items. Our next donation will be end of school day on 11/22/24.

As the weather is changing please ensure your student comes to school with a coat, gloves, and a hat. Once we have snow on the ground they will need snow boots for recess in order to be in the snow. The weather gets quite chilly in the back of the building. Student will go outside as long as the temperature is above zero degrees.

You can email your child's teacher directly from HAC. After logging in, click on the "classes" image on the top menu. You will be able to view your child's schedule. Each of your child's teachers are listed under "teacher." If you right click on a name, you are given a "copy email address" option.

If you are arriving later than 9:05 please walk your student in to the office to sign them in for the day. Please also call the office if you plan on arriving after 9:05am. The attendance line number is 331-228-2700.

Students must apply for the privilege of using prearranged absence days through the principal’s office. This completed form must be turned in at least (2) school days prior to the requested absence. The building principal or designee has the authority to grant up to (5) days of excused absence per year for the following types of absences:

Participation in regional and/or national contests or awards

Family vacation—qualified by the phrase “accompanied by

If your student forgets their lunch please email the classroom teacher and drop off at the main office. Please label with the students full name.

Please remember to add money to your child(s) Pushcoin account in order to be able to purchase a meal. Norton Creek will be open at 8:50am on school days for breakfast. Please call the office with any questions.
