Monday's Veterans Day assembly, led so beautifully by Mrs. Brumbelow-Monteiro and our incredible 4th grade Cosmos, was a moving tribute to the bravery, sacrifice, and service of our veterans. To all the veterans and families who joined us, thank you for allowing us the privilege of honoring you and your stories—you are true heroes. A special thank you to our very own educators at Camacho who are also veterans; your service to both our country and our students is a testament to your unwavering dedication. We are also deeply grateful to our amazing PTA for treating our veterans to coffee and pastries, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for this special day.

Being part of a community that values gratitude, connection, and service as much as we do at Camacho Elementary is truly a gift, and I couldn’t be more proud of our students, staff and families for all the ways they embody these traits.
