Our History
Region 14 BOE/District Goals
- Academic Performance - The district will strive to improve academic performance for all students on multiple assessment indicators and the staff will be committed to continuous improvement.
- Communication - Region 14 will develop partnerships with all stakeholders in the school community to highlight the exemplary programs the district offers.
- Safety - Region 14 will provide safe and secure facilities equipped with technology, enabling a 21st century learning environment that supports the values of the district.
- Budget - Region 14 will prepare a budget that meets the needs of every student and communicates the needs and priorities of Region 14 in a clear and concise manner.

Congratulations to our February Student of the Month awardees. Mr. Murphy was in the building to present students with their certificates. PreK: Zachary Wolcott K: Albert Sabin, Tien Vuolopaglia 1: Georgina Beatty, Aaria Evans 2: Everett Golovin, Sofia Ramos 3: Grace Bunnell, Clover Glabe 4: Daniela Garzon, Nathan Romano 5: Tye Weaver, Christopher Farisello Art: Zoey Vroom Music: Cassidy Weaver LC: Mia Lorancaitis LMC: Katherine Searles PE: Reese Ranieri. The Student of the Month Breakfast will be held Thursday, March 21st at 9 AM for awardees in January and February and their families!
Thursday, March 14 is Pi Day! Woohoo! MES and BES are teaming up to celebrate our second annual Pi Day Celebration with exciting activities. More to follow.
On Thursday, March 21st Mr. Murphy will present the Region's proposed budget for next year at 6 PM in the Library.
The BES Talent Show will be on April 4, 2024! Students in grades 2-5 have auditioned and we are happy to report we are loaded with talent and all received a "golden ticket" to the BES Talent Show!
February 28 was Science Day at BES! Students particpated in science trivia walking tours led by Albert Einstein! Congratulations to Mrs. Asselin's class for winning the science trivia contest!
When EdAdvance opens up their registration for afterschool care for next year, they will also be offering before school care. The before school care will run from 7:00 to 8:15 AM. For those who live in Bethlehem or attend BES, there will be a bus that will transport students from MES to BES. Please look for the flyers that EdAdvance will be sending out soon.
