Vista Unified Community Update
Principal's Update
Good evening, Vista High School Community!
We hope you have had a wonderful Valentine's Day! We love our students and we want you to know we love caring for them every day. This weekend is a five day weekend, and we hope it provides everyone with the opportunity to relax, recharge, catch up, get ahead, or whatever is right for you! We will start school again on Wednesday, February 21st.
This is the second semester, and each semester is divided into three grading periods. As we near the end of the first grading period, please encourage your students to have good attendance and to pay attention to completing all of their assignments so that we can accurately report their progress report grade. Progress reports will be mailed home so that you can have family conversations about their school achievements.
Registration season is upon us, and your student will soon be choosing next year’s classes! Each student will have sessions during school where they will meet with their counselors to make sure they are on the right path. You are welcome to attend our Family Registration Nights so that you can speak to a counselor directly about your student’s course choices. We look forward to seeing you there!
Have a wonderful five day weekend, Panther Community!
