BonDeCroft Lion's Roar

Every student who has perfect attendance during each month will receive a special reward. I am working on a bigger reward for any student who has perfect attendance for all of the months listed below!

We have so many great things going on in our encore classes. Here is a look at what has been going on in guidance and art recently.

The guidance and art classes combined to work together on a county-wide poster contest using the Stop! Walk! Talk! initiative. Students brainstormed and discussed bullying and created a draft for their poster and one poster from each school will be submitted to the central office by November 8th.

11/5: No School for Students (Election Day)

Parents, We have developed a school pledge with staff and students that shows what we value as a school. We hope that you will encourage and remind students of the important virtues throughout the school year, brag on your child when he or she receives and award for exhibiting these behaviors, and work with us to correct behaviors that do not line up with our pledge. We are excited about the great things happening at BDC with our staff, students, and families!

Reading: Read Aloud Ritual: Dedicate 15-30 minutes each day to reading aloud as a family.

Math: Real-World Geometry: Explore geometric shapes in your surroundings, from the rectangular pizza slices to the circular clock face.
