Firefly Families,
As we close out the third nine weeks, I am incredibly proud of the hard work, growth and achievements of our Fireflies. This nine weeks has been filled with moments of perseverance, learning, and joy.
This week alone has been a shining example of our Firefly spirit! Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders tackled the Interim Math STAAR test, showing determination and focus. We had the privilege of welcoming a visiting author, who inspired our students to embrace storytelling and the power of words. Our Open House provided a wonderful opportunity for families to see firsthand the incredible learning taking place in our classrooms. And, of course, we ended the week with Bounce House Bonanza Field Day, bringing smiles, laughter and well-earned fun for all!
Throughout this last week, our Boosterthon fundraiser has been a tremendous success and we are beyond grateful for your unwavering support. Your generosity directly impacts our students and allows us to continue providing enriching experiences that foster a love for learning.
As we move into the final stretch of the school year, let’s continue to work together to keep our Fireflies engaged, motivated and continuing to shine bright. Thank you for being part of this journey and for your continued support in making our school a place where students shine.
With gratitude and excitement for what’s ahead!
Filled with Firefly Pride,
Carla

News from Nurse Peluse
To ensure the health of our school community, please keep your child home if they are experiencing symptoms such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, severe cough, or any other signs of illness. A fever is anything above 100 degrees.
Contact Nurse Peluse if you have any questions about when your student can return to school. If you are unsure whether to send your child to school, most likely the student should stay home to rest and recover.
Please consult your child's healthcare provider for specific guidance regarding their health concerns. With flu season being in full effect, we must prioritize the health of all students and staff.
