CONGRATULATIONS, ASHER!
Last week, students from the FMHS and MHS feeder patterns in grades 4 through 8 gathered at the LISD Administrative Center to compete in the Regional Spelling Bee. This competitive group included 2 students from each of the 17 elementary schools and 6 middle schools that feed into the Flower Mound and Marcus high schools.
Soon, the top 4 spellers from each of LISD's 4 Regional Bees will compete in the District Spelling Bee. All of Donald wishes Asher the best of luck as he competes as 1 of the 12 spellers!

LET'S SET GREAT GOALS FOR 2025!
As the new year begins, I’m excited to share that our students will focus on setting personal and academic goals during January's guidance lessons. This is an excellent opportunity for them to reflect on what they’d like to achieve in 2025 and learn valuable skills in planning and perseverance. We encourage you to join us in discussing goal setting with your child at home. Together, we can help them start the year strong with a positive mindset and a clear path forward!

CELEBRATE SOMEONE WITH A GIFT TO THE LIBRARY
Celebrate your favorite Dolphin's birthday, accomplishment, or special occasion with a personalized donation to the Donald Library! Parents, family, and community members can now donate a book from our wish list, or you can choose to donate a book of your choice. When you select a book to donate, you will also be able to personalize a permanent book plate inside the front cover of the book with a custom message for your honoree. All books will be shipped to our school, processed, and ready to be added the shelves directly from the vendor. To make sure the person you are celebrating sees your gift, the honoree will get to be the first person to check the book out! We will announce all books donated, and occasions celebrated, each month on our announcements, too. Visit https://www.btsb.com/sosl/donaldsesstemacademy/ to celebrate someone!
