Coordinate plane
The coordinate plane or Cartesian plane is a basic concept for coordinate geometry. It describes a two-dimensional plane in terms of two perpendicular axes: x and y. The x-axis indicates the horizontal direction while the y-axis indicates the vertical direction of the plane. In the coordinate plane, points are indicated by their positions along the x and y-axes.
Coordinate geometry proofs employ the use of formulas such as the Distance Formula, the Slope Formula and/or the Midpoint Formula as well as postulates, theorems and definitions.
isosceles triangle
A(0,0)
B(3,2)
C(0.4)
This triangle is an isosceles because it has two congruent sides.
Trapzoid
A(1,1)
B(5,2) because the slopes are equal
C(7,5)
D(5,7) because the slopes are not equal
it is a trapzoid because it has only one set of parallel sides.
The way I did mine was though everybody can see it from the same perspective. and everyone knows what point im trying to get across.
