BHS Traffic Patterns & Parking
2024-2025
Parent/Guardian Drop Off Recommendations 8/20/24
If you enter campus on Excellence Drive to drop off in center lot, the right lane will be for buses only and the left lane for cars to enter the center lot to drop off.
Again, DO NOT STOP AND PARK ALONG ANY CURB ON THE STREET OR PARKING LOT! This slows down the flow of traffic, causes others to maneuver around your car, and is a safety issue for students entering the building while others are trying to get around you. Pulling up a few feet does not solve the issue and ignoring staff is not acceptable. If you are arriving early to BHS, please go to the back west lot and park in a parking space. When the doors open, have your child/children exit the car and walk to the back west entrance.
When dropping off, pull all the way down along the drop off zone, when your car stops anywhere along the curb, have your child/children quickly exit the car. They can walk and cross over to enter any entrance. Be prepared to exit by having their backpack, instrument and other items next to them or on their lap, so they can unbuckle and exit quickly. If they have to get items out of the back seat, from the trunk, or to switch drivers, park in the back west lot in a parking spot.
