Study Participants Needed
- My name is Dr. Baldwin-White, Assistant Professor of Social Work, and I am conducting a study about sexual assault. The study aims to understand students’ perceptions of sexual assault and how those beliefs might be changed through a digital game-based sexual assault prevention program. For the purposes of this research, we are looking for a maximum of 50 undergraduate college students ages 18 to 25 to participate in a 2 hour study.
Study details:
- Students will participate in a pretest that asks questions about their perceptions of sexual assault. They will then complete a text based video game. After the video game, they will participate in an interview, and complete a post-test survey that assesses the same perceptions of sexual assault, their game engagement, and technology acceptance. All components of the study will be completed online using the platform Zoom. Each participant will receive up to $20 in gift cards to Amazon. Participation is completely voluntary and separate from any class activity, credit or grades. Participants will provide their first name and email address when scheduling a session. Therefore, your name and email will not be connected to your survey information
- To participate in this valuable research, follow the link to the consent document and pretest below:
https://ugeorgia.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_77NszPn4xTtGBH7
- At the end of the survey will be a link to sign up for a day and time to schedule to play the game and participate in a one on one interview.
