Transporting Students
To be approved to transport students, please submit the following information to Sandy Gentry in transportation.
1. Copy of your driver's liscense
2. Copy of your vehicle's proof of insurance
3. Copy of your vehicle's registration
In order to transport students, the staff member must be willing (can't be required and CAN refuse if asked). Plus, you must get permission from me each time you transport as I have to record it for the district. And, we need permission from the parent. Additionally, another staff member must ride along. If no staff member is available, a staff member must ride "virtually" (hello, FaceTime).
This is primarily for the office, but I can see with some of our trips where some of you may be inclined to ask to do this. If you are interested in going through the approval process, send me an email with the three attachments above and I will send it on to transportation.
