Get Involved in campus Clubs & Organizations
The BEST way to be part of Jaguar Nation is to get involved. FMHS has many different clubs and organizations that 9th-12th grader students can join. Check out the main clubs list and make plans to attend the 1st meetings of the year. Information can also be found posted in the CLUB HUB located on the bulletin board at the doors to Main Campus.

Santa Cops Gift Card Drive
Who’s the best Christmas carol singer!? Principal Chad Russell of FMHS? Or Principal Koontz of MHS?
THERE’S ONLY ONE WAY TO FIND OUT!
Both Principals have accepted the challenge to raise money for the Flower Mound Police Department Santa Cops Program!
The competition is simple. Each year FMPD hosts a gift card drive by collecting Target and Visa gift cards for the Santa Cops program. FMHS (and their feeder schools) will go head-to-head with MHS (and their feeder schools). The school who collects the highest total value of gift cards wins!
What’s the payoff? Well, the losing school’s (there really is no loser, it’s all for a great cause!) principal will dress up as Santa Claus and perform live with their school’s choir at our Cocoa with the Popo event on Thursday, December 5th at Market Street Flower Mound! Yes, that’s right, Christmas Carols and pop hits performed live by Principals Russell or Koontz!
How do you participate? The FMPD Community Services Unit will drop off boxes at our elementary schools and to our SRO’s at their respective schools (Middle and High). Donations can be placed in those boxes in the front office throughout the week. On Fridays, the Community Services Unit will pick up and tally the donations, providing updates to the campuses as we go.
The Santa Cops Challenge will begin on Monday, November 4th and continue through Friday, November 22nd. We will announce the winner that evening to make sure our losing principal has enough time to get his vocal chords ready!
If anyone has any questions, please reach out the FMPD Community Services Unit. Email: fmpd.communityservices@flowermound.gov or by phone: 972-874-3357.

Ask an Expert: Video Series
In 2018, LISD launched Ask-an-Expert, a video series aimed at helping parents continue crucial conversations with their children at home. Throughout the year, our counselors share their expertise with you, touching on some of the most important issues our students face today. Videos can be accessed here: Ask an Expert Videos
Talk, listen, and keep the conversation going. #askLISD
Whole Child Series
The Lewisville ISD Counseling and Social Work Department is grateful to partner with you to support the social emotional needs of all LISD students. We believe education on these issues is key to helping our students become happy, successful people.
Please review the flyers in English or Spanish describing different social issues our students may face. If you have any areas that we may assist you or your student, please contact your student’s school counselor.
We appreciate the opportunity to work with your students.
