Daylight saving time ends​​ Sunday, November 3, 2024. Remember to set clocks back one hour Saturday night.

Please remember that Monday, November 4th is an early release day for students at Everton. Students will be dismissed at 1:30. Creative Steps after school care is available, but you must arrange this with them in advance. Should you need this service, you can reach Creative Steps at 937-469-7785. Please remember that elementary schools have one early release day each month.

Everton's Veterans Day program is scheduled for 1:30 on Thursday November 7th. Students in grades 5 and 6 will be performing. Mrs. Jackson and the students have put a lot of energy into their practices, so this will be something to experience!

There are many activities going on at Everton during November. Please check out the calendar for important dates.

Picture retakes will be on November 14th. Students must return their previous picture package for retakes. Also, any student who was absent or newly enrolled at Everton may get their picture taken.

Grandparents are invited to have lunch with their grandchild/grandchildren on November 21st and 22nd, depending on grade level. This is such a well attended event that we need to have two separate days! Detailed information for Grandparents Day is being sent in students' Friday Folders.

The Indiana Department of Education is piloting a new system of testing with ILEARN. The elementary schools in the Fayette County School Corporation are participating in the pilot. This is for students in grades 3-6. Students will be given a short math and ELA test three times on specific essential standards before taking the summative ILEARN. This will provide teachers, students, and parents information on standards students are mastering and standards that may require additional support prior to taking the summative ILEARN.
