HFRCS Newsletter SY2021-2022
April 26, 2022 - Vol.1 Issue 36
From the Principal's Office
Dear Parents and Guardians,
In case anyone was wondering, Holy Family does indeed have talent! Our first Holy Family’s Got Talent show was a huge success on Friday evening as students bravely shared their gifts and talents on the stage. Equally impressive was the outpouring of love and support from our audience! Many thanks to all who attended our inaugural event! We especially wish to thank Mr. Brett Walzer, Miss Linda Lusher, Mrs. Heather Murphy and our fabulous judges, Mrs. Sonnie (aka Penny Potter), Mrs. Morrison (aka Squeegie Beckenheim) and Mr. O (aka Simon Scowl). With the talent we witnessed on Friday night, there is no telling how great next year’s show will be!
This Saturday, our 3rd grade students from Queen of the Universe Parish will be receiving their First Holy Communion. Please pray for these young students who will receive Jesus for the first time at Masses on Saturday morning at 10:00 AM and also at 12:30 PM.
We are now at the midpoint of the third trimester. Please check your child’s grades on MSP and if you have any questions or concerns, reach out to your child’s teacher. If you are having difficulty logging into MSP, or have any concerns seeing grades while on MSP, please contact our school secretary, Mrs. Mangapit (michelle.mangapit@hfrcs.org)
Looking ahead, Friday, May 6 our 8th grade will sponsor Bingo Day for the entire school. This day serves as a fundraiser for the 8th grade legacy gift and is also a super fun day for all students. More information will be forthcoming, but I do know that this year’s Bingo Day theme is “Under the Sea!” Since it is a $1 dress down day, start thinking about your “Under the Sea” outfit for the day!
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Mrs. Haggerty
