What's Happening at Central Crossing High School
CCHS Multicultural Festival
On Thursday, March 13th from 5:30-7:30 pm, the CCHS Diversity Club will host its second annual Multicultural Festival! This FREE event welcomes students, families, staff members, and community leaders to recognize, celebrate, and support the diversity that makes our own multicultural community so great. Guests who attend will experience cultural exchanges firsthand through engaging with people, food, music, crafts, activities, languages, dancing, games, and cultural information from around the world! Note: If any student, family/community member, or staff member is interested in participating in this event to represent a different culture (e.g. bringing food or objects, leading an activity, sharing a talent or performance, etc.), they can fill out this form by Wednesday, February 26th. Feel free to contact Rachel Harris or Beth Conti with any questions.
SAT for Juniors
All juniors will be taking the SAT in school on March 5th. Please come on time and prepared with your charged chromebook. Testing will begin at 8:00am and after testing, a late start schedule with resume.
Parent - Teacher Conferences
Please make sure to mark your calendars for Parent/Teacher Conferences on Thursday, February 27 (3:30 - 7:30 pm). Sign ups will be available on the school website by the middle of next week.
Student Parking - Semester 2 Reminders
Any student desiring to park on school property must obtain a parking permit each school year. Parking permits for the 2024-2025 school year are $12.50 for the remainder school year.
- Students must park in the designated student parking lot, where the band practices. Students are NOT permitted to park in the front or back lot.
- Students must bring a completed application, their driver's license, and proof of insurance to the CCHS Activity Clerk, Tammy Jochem.
Comet Theatre Department
Disney's Descendants is on its way to Central Crossing! A total of 37 students are part of the cast and crew of this year's spring musical. A huge thank you to all who auditioned or applied. We are looking forward to a great show! If you are interested in the show or tickets please visit or Theatre Department's Website.
Counseling Corner
Class of 2025
We want to celebrate your post-grad plans! Fill out the following form with your senior year successes and plans to be featured on the CCHS Senior Spotlight Slideshow. This information will be displayed on the TVs in the cafeteria and in the Student Support Center. Information will also be used to plan ceremonies at CCHS in May!
College Credit Plus Information Night
Students interested in earning free college credit while still attending high school and their families, plan to attend the College Credit Plus Information Night on Thursday Feb 27 at 6:30 in the CCHS auditorium to learn more about this exciting opportunity. In addition, students should complete the College Credit Plus Interest Survey in your google cohort classroom. New and returning College Credit Plus students must complete the survey.
Scheduling for the 2025-2026 School Year
School Counselors will be visiting classrooms beginning next week to help answer scheduling questions and help students add next year’s course requests into Infinite Campus. Please have conversations with your students regarding their course options sheet that was distributed on 1/24/25. This sheet should be completed prior to next week.

Key Club Carnation Sale
On Valentine's Day, our Key Club delivered over 100 carnations to students across the school as valentine gifts to friends. Special thanks to Prairie Flowers and Gifts for their support of our Key Club here at CCHS, the local florist shop who supplied the carnations!
