Newell's News
Welcome to 2024-25
Dear Skyline Ohana,
Welcome to a new and exciting school year at Skyline High School! We are thrilled to have you all back and are looking forward to making this year the best one yet. We have some exciting new initiatives, including our Intervention Fridays, where students will have the opportunity to receive small group support and fill in any learning gaps. If a student has a D, F, or an I, they will be required to come to school for specialized intervention. Students with an ONL designation will be able to stay home on Fridays.
We're also excited about Freshman Day on the 27th, where only our new freshmen will be on campus from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. They'll get a chance to visit all their classes and participate in an assembly to help them get acclimated and pumped up before the rest of the students join us. That evening, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, we’ll be hosting our Back to School Night, where families can meet teachers and gather any important information they need for the year ahead.
This is going to be the greatest year yet! Have a fantastic day, and as always, GO GRIZZ!
Warm regards,
Josh Newell
Principal, Skyline High School
