The TRHS Counseling Department is inviting you to a special evening: Grizzly Path (find your calling)!!
This is an evening to explore and learn more about your options after high school. This evening has been tailored to all potential pathways: College, Career Technical Education, Military, Workforce and Gap Year. Regardless of your journey we have something for you.
This convention style event will feature breakout sessions, and several booths in all post secondary pathways.

WOMEN OF LAW DAY
The University of Colorado – Boulder Women’s Law Caucus is reaching out to extend an invitation to your students at ThunderRidge High School to an upcoming event designed for high schoolers: Women in Law Day (WiLD) 2025.
Every year, the Women's Law Caucus at Colorado Law invites high school and undergraduate students across Colorado to our campus in Boulder to learn about law school, discover legal career opportunities, and envision themselves pursuing this advanced degree. The goal of Women in Law Day is to encourage young women of all backgrounds to consider a career in law.

Women in Law Day is free!
The program includes a keynote speaker, panel sessions with local women attorneys, a mock law school class, chances to speak with current law students, and an opportunity to meet local attorneys during a networking lunch.
University of CO Denver/Anschutz
Department of Bioengineering is offering 3 sessions of
Bioengineering Opportunities & Leadership Training (BOLT) camp in June 2025
Session I: June 2 - 5, 2025 - registration here
Session II: June 9 - 12, 2025 - registration here
Session III: June 23 - 26, 2025 - registration here
BOLT summer camp is a 4 day summer camp for high school students that exposes students to the diverse careers available in biomedical engineering and STEM.
BOLT Camp Details:
- Who: The camp is open to all students entering 9-12 grade in Fall 2025
Dates: Session I, June 2- 5, 2025; Session II, June 9 – 12, 2025; Session III, June 23 - 26, 2025.
- Times: 8:00am - 4:30pm with 1-hour lunch break
Cost: $975 (limited scholarships available, deadline to apply for scholarship February 15, 2025)
- Location: Anschutz Medical Campus, 12705 E. Montview Blv, Aurora, CO
- Supplies: Lunch and all supplies are provided
Registration is now open!
There are a limited number of scholarships seats and scholarship applications can be submitted no sooner than January 1, 2025. As part of the scholarship application you are required to write an essay about why you should receive a scholarship and also have a recommendation letter submitted on your behalf. Deadline to apply for a scholarship is February 15, 2025 and reminders will be sent in January. You will be notified no later than May 15, 2025 if you have been selected to receive a scholarship. You can apply for a scholarship HERE.

What is ASCENT?
Accelerating Students through Concurrent Enrollment (ASCENT) is a fifth-year high school program (fall and spring semesters) that covers tuition costs at a participating college the year following 12th grade. Eligible and approved ASCENT students are able to attend a participating college (trade school, community college or approved four-year university) and DCSD will cover the tuition costs. The ASCENT program gives students the opportunity to continue their education, and follow their path leading to a career in their chosen field.

Meet DCSD Graduation requirements
Student must meet the required 24 credits.
Students must complete 20 community service hours
Graduation competencies in English and Math.
Students must complete an Academic Plan (ICAP)~Naviance Tasks
STUDENTS ONLY MAY RSVP IN NAVIANCE for Info Meeting January 28th 10:20-10:55 am
1. Login to Naviance
2. Go to the Colleges Tab (top of screen)
3. Click College Visits
4. See the ASCENT/TREP event
5. Click Register Tab
If students don't have a class prior to the info session then they may come directly to the Post Grad Room. Otherwise passes will be sent.
