Cougar Update

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held October 7th from 3:45pm until 7:30 pm, Oct. 9th from 3:45pm until 7:30 pm and Oct. 10th from 8:00-11:30am. Please be sure to have ParentVue or feel free to stop in the office and our secretaries will help you to login. This will allow you access to your student's grades at any point during the year. Paper copies of schedules will not be provided.

Due to Parent-Teacher Conferences, there will be no weights this week.

As a reminder, please do not drop students off before 7:45am unless they are participating in Show Choir, Morning Weights or Walking Club. There is no supervision prior to 7:45 am and we want to ensure all students are safe. Additionally, all students (including 6th grade) wishing to participate in walking club must enter through door 1 on the East side of the building.

We’re excited to announce that our annual Blood Drive is coming up, and this year it also serves as a fundraiser for our school! After we reach 30 donors, Westridge will earn $300, and for each additional donor, we will receive $10 more. These funds will directly support student or staff needs, so your participation can make a big difference.

The Blood Drive will take place on Thursday, October 10th, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Get ready—the Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school! This is a great opportunity to connect with your child over the thrill of bringing home new books to dive into again and again. Here’s everything you need to know about the Book Fair:

Dates: Monday, October 7th during conferences from 3:45-7:30, Wednesday, October 9th during conferences from 3:45-7:30, and Thursday, October 10th from 8-11:30. The Book Fair will be located in the Westridge cafeteria.

I hope you’ll join your child at our school’s Fair and share a reading experience they’ll remember forever.
